Documentary Production

Telling stories in documentary form

Crafting from captured reality

Documentary projects can span all manner of scale and subject matter. The narrative might be driven by an individual person’s story, an event, a broad macro theme, or any number of other things. The implementation and aesthetic can vary just as wildly.

The documentary approach brings a number of key advantages over others – it can achieve a level of naturalness and sense of authenticity which is very difficult (or impossible) to achieve through ‘traditional’ narrative production. Capturing of detail and texture in this way also allows for the presentation of a visceral audience experience, where your message and theme can come through simultaneously on multiple layers.

In other words, you don’t have to ‘recreate’ artificially, what you can capture naturally and then craft into your story.
